Her Story

Kristin Martin is the CEO and founder of High Tide Hospitality, a company that delivers white-glove hospitality services to vacation rentals, with a strong focus on guest-centered design. She is also a licensed real estate professional specializing in vacation rental investments, helping clients identify, acquire, and optimize properties for both profitability and exceptional guest experiences.

Kristin’s journey is rooted in versatility and grit. A proud trade school graduate, she received hands-on training across a wide range of disciplines: including IT, healthcare, electrical, HVAC, machine work, automotive repair, plumbing, carpentry, culinary arts, and hospitality. This diverse foundation gives her a uniquely practical, solutions-driven approach that sets her apart in both hospitality and real estate.

Having lived in vibrant cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Maui, Las Vegas, and now Houston (since 2008), Kristin brings a deep understanding of diverse lifestyles and design aesthetics. Her extensive travels across the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Central America have further enriched her global perspective and cultural sensitivity.

Kristin is passionate about education and mentorship, particularly in supporting young women as they build careers in the hospitality industry. She also gives back through her work with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and stays ahead of industry trends through continuous education and training.

Whether she’s designing a five-star guest experience, guiding an investor through their next big purchase, or leading a philanthropic initiative, Kristin brings unmatched energy, empathy, and expertise to every endeavor.
